The Dead Man: Face of Evil

I wanted to take a minute to point you all toward this book. This is the first in a series of books that will feature Matt Cahill, a man who can actually see evil. Several authors will be adding their own volumes to this series, including some big names. I will have a book or two in there somewhere, too, so make sure you check it out. I’ve read the first one, Face of Evil, and it’s good.

The series originators, Lee Goldberg and William Rabkin, did a fantastic job of setting up the series. Reviews thus far have been quite positive, comparing the work to Stephen King, among others.

I kinda think of it as a cross between Stephen King and the old Kung Fu television show. Matt Cahill lives kind of a nomadic life, spending his time looking for The Dark Man and thwarting evil as he goes. A spooky sort of men’s adventure series that, in my opinion, is long overdue.

Here is the link to the Kindle edition. I understand a hard copy will be available soon, too. Give this series a look, it’s well worth it.

Couldn’t agree more! As one of the authors tapped to contribute an adventure to this series, I’m thrilled and delighted. The first novel is a fun page-turner that grabs you from the get-go!
