I don’t think it laughable at all. I do embroidery as my day job and I have been wanting to figure out how to market author shirts. Not quite the same thing, but very nearly. My idea was more of a polo with title, name and a representation of the cover. With embroidery you can’t easily do a full cover reproduction.
